About PPM: The Project-affected People’s Mechanism (PPM) is AIIB’s independent accountability mechanism that helps to resolve complaints from Project-affected people who believe they have been or are likely to be adversely affected by AIIB’s failure to implement the Environmental and Social Policy (ESP). The PPM is independent of the AIIB Management and directly reports to the Board. PPM is part of Complaints-resolution, Evaluation and Integrity Unit (CEIU) of AIIB.

About PPM e-learning course: The purpose of this e-learning course is to enhance awareness of various stakeholders about PPM in an easy-to-understand and self-paced e-learning format. This is an updated version of the e-learning course, incorporating changes in the PPM Policy approved by the Board in December 2025.

Who should take this e-learning course: Representatives from AIIB Members, clients, affected communities, civil society organizations, academics, students and the general public interested in learning about PPM.
